Every year, thousands of technical, medical, and other professional families leave the hum drum of suburbia, or the rat race of urban living to move to the country. In years gone by during the agricultural revolution, almost every man knew how to drive a tractor and every women how to can. Such is not the case. My wife and I made this trek about 6 years ago and have learned many valuable lessons. Our intent is to share these experiences and the experiences of those before us to make your move to the country jus a little bit easier. . As you seek to find your roots in the solitude of the country, you will find many unforeseen challenges. This page is dedicated to this new breed of farmers and making their search for happiness just a little bit easier. Feel free to send us your comments, experiences, and desires.
