As do many Hobby Farmers, we like to ride and raise horses.  This page shows the horses we love, ride and breed as well as some that we have for sale.  We are always looking to buy good natured horses that that may need some work, or are in a distressed where their owners cannot give them the care they need and deserve.  We ensure all of our sale horses receive good homes.  below are our sale horses as well as friends for life.

$2,500.00

How some people can just throw away great horses always amazes us.  We bought Asia from a man in Missouri that saved her from the throws of a local sale barn.  Our many thanks for the work that went into saving her.  Check this beauty out.  She is still somewhat green to normal maintenance things such as bathing, tacking mounting but her ride and strides are to die for.  Look how she bends at the poll. We have ridden her a little (She just came home 23 Oct 04.)  Asia is not for a beginner, very reactive to the leg and you need no bit pressure at all.  She has some learning to do, but she has spirit, is honest and very talented.  Sorry, we have to call her a "Grade Mare" as we have no information on her lineage.  She is 6 years old trailers and is still getting to know the farrier, although she has stood twice for him at her previous house.  Don't miss this girl, she will win some ribbons

"Rocky"

SOLD!

Smokey is an Irish Draft Cross, or Irish Sport Horse now living in Kansas.  Smokey came from a good home, but his owner needed a large, gaited horse, which he was not! There are hundreds of misplaced horses out there that we try to find and put in the right home.

SOLD!

"Autumn"

wpe43.jpg (42630 bytes)

$ SOLD

Autumn, or Pontiac as she was called in her previous life, came to us as a possible pony for for our Daughter, Hayley.  She was mistreated, we believe while in a stall.  While floating her teeth, we discovered she had a large scar almost through the back of her tongue.  Anyway Autumn is living on a nearby farm now and is very happy as she is back with her pasture mate of about 5 years.
"Frosty"

wpe4A.jpg (75879 bytes)

The day we bought him

wpe46.jpg (89800 bytes)

The day we sold him

$ SOLD

Frosty was Hayley's first pony.  WOW what a difference a little bit of food and nutrition makes.  Look at him when we bought him and how plump he is here right before we sold him
"Hail  to the Chief"

chief_sale.jpg (71435 bytes)

wpe1.jpg (21872 bytes)

$ SOLD

Hail to the Chief!  Chief is a very large Gypsy type (Drum) Horse.  He has feathering on his feet, A curly Mane and tail.  Chief sticks as a clean 17.2 hh and we guess him to be about 1800 lbs.

Chief was sold to a very nice family that rescues Rottweillers.  He went home 3 July 2004.

Our Horses...

In Memory of

"Lady Spade"

or Sadie the She Wolf

ears_pinned.jpg (564692 bytes)

Registered Thoroughbred

Folks, Sadie had been the Queen of our herd for 10 years.  Unfortunately, we came home one evening and found that she had kicked something and severed her left rear flexor tendon.  Our only alternative was to end her suffering.  She will be missed.

"Apache"

or

"Trit Trot"

wpe41.jpg (54156 bytes)

This pony has been a great little mount for Hayley.  They go running through our neighbors pasture like the wind.  Oh but what happens when the worlds most stubborn pony is ridden by the the most stubborn 7 year old?  Lots of funny stories from this pair.  We call him Trit trot because that's what his previous owners said to get him to trot.  His little gait even sounds like ... trit trot trit trot trit trot.....
"Code Man"

wpe48.jpg (41825 bytes)

$ "Priceless"

A finer horse has never been born.  This is my AQHA that I love like a child.  He is a phenomenal horse, anyone can ride him and he loves to chase cows.

"Lady War Leo"

or

Jenny

We bought Jenny from Simpson's Rolling Acres (One of our web site clients).  Jenny is big and beautiful and as honest as the day is long.  She recently had a foal to RID, Hang on Johnny.

"Cosmic Summer Moon"

or

Summer

wpe63.jpg (43925 bytes)

Summer is an imprinted Appendix Quarter Horse who thinks she is a cheerleader.  She always wants to be in your pocket and have you give her a pat.  Summer is in foal to an a young RID Stallion for a spring 07 foal.

"Yes Ima Flyer"

or

Sterling

Reregistered TB Mare

We took Sterling in last year as she could no longer jump due to an old injury in her youth.  She is big and beautiful and pushy! We tried to breed her to our favorite RID stallion, but to no avail.  Maybe next year girl.
